Bethany Gardner, BSc (Hons) Agriculture with Animal Science student, has received a Studley College Trust scholarship and an AHDB Pork Pig Industry Scholarship at Harper Adams University.
Bethany, 21, from Lancaster, Lancashire said: “I’d like to give my sincere gratitude to my sponsors Cargill Provimi and Studley College Trust scholarship.
“I was honoured to be given a chance for an interview with the global company Cargill Provimi. I’m very proud to be a Harper Adams pig scholar and that I’ll be working for Provimi for my placement year, where I will be learning from some of the most talented people in the field of animal nutrition.”
Bethany, receives £4,500 from her AHDB Pork Pig Scholarship and £2000 from the Studley College Trust Scholarship. She added: “These scholarships are helpful in providing some financial relief for my four year university course.”
Bethany has aspirations of working in the animal nutrition industry.
